When Tomorrow Comes
A downloadable game
When Tomorrow Comes is a 2D open world survival game where players have to survive 30 days of battling the unknown by crafting, fighting, and exploring. Each day offers new possibilities, can you survive them all?
Synopsis:
Blended by both a soul crafted by the world from remnants of its lost memories and fragments of beings who once lived there. The dying world, in a desperate attempt to restore itself, gathered the essence of past souls tied to key moments in its history and melded them into a new being. This new being has no memory of its own but carries within them echoes of ancient knowledge, instincts, and emotions tied to the world's decline.
Instead of clear, personal memories, you experience fragments-visions of past lives and events from those who once protected or inhabited the land. These memories are scattered and incomplete, emerging only when you interact with the world's shrines, sacred places, or artifacts. The memories may manifest as feelings of déjà vu, ghostly voices, or sudden instincts that guide them toward their purpose.
As they restore each biome, you strengthen their connection to the land, gaining more clarity about the world's past and the cause of its decay. They might begin to feel as though they belong to the world and share in its suffering, but they retain an individual will—a sense of self-that makes them wonder if they're truly just an "echo" or something more. This internal conflict could create tension as they struggle with their purpose and their growing sense of identity.
